      A scavenger hunt with a twist! Unusual challenges to tempt the taste buds, make your mouth water, and photos that will exercise your brain & your funny bone. Tasks may involve strange foods, tasty beverages, test of your athletic abilities, all in the name of fun and fundraising. The proceeds will benefit the 1Voice Foundation. These funds will be used for families affected by cancer and chronic blood disorders to embark on conservation activities in association with The Florida Aquarium.

      Join us at the Lion’s Pride “Break the Silence” one night charity jam for ovarian cancer:

      Rondeau’sKickboxing, 12 Sunnyside Drive, Johnston, RI PRESENTS GIRLS with BALLS WALK – RUN or ZUMBA it with us!!! This is a FUN AND UNFORMAL 5K run. Trophies given out to the top 3 runners. Wear your best BOXERS to show your support for OVARIAN CANCER AWARENESS!!! Be-dazzle, bling, feathers, sharpie them…. Be creative and run in some FUN BOXER SHORTS!!!! “PRIZES TO THE MOST CREATIVE BOXER SHORTS!” a portion of the proceeds will be donated towards Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

      Join us for a 70.3-mile adventure. Taking place at Lake Eva Park in Haines City, Floida, athletes will enjoy the fresh water, 1.2-mile swim in Lake Eva, a challenging 56-mile bike course through rural, Citrus Orchards in Polk County and a scenic, 13.1-mile run course around the lake and through out the park.

      9:45 am – 12:15 pm

      Register today for the Dallas/Fort Worth Free to Breathe® Lung Cancer Walk/Run, a fun event for the entire family that brings the community together to inspire hope and create change for everyone impacted by lung cancer. Together we can fuel the movement to defeat this disease, and help those diagnosed live longer, better lives. All proceeds help support the National Lung Cancer Partnership’s vital research, education and awareness programs.

    5. 3rd Annual “Piggy Trot”
      1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Glenna Kohl Fund for Hope, Inc. will be hosting our 3rd Annual Piggy Trot – a 5K road race (3.7 miles actual distance) – on May 20th in Osterville, Massachusetts. This race will start and end at Dowses Beach, where Glenna spent five years as a lifeguard and swimming instructor for the Town of Barnstable. Proceeds from this race will be used to install shade canopies and sunscreen dispensers on Cape Cod beaches and to promote awareness of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

      Have a magical afternoon with the Alaska Autism Resource Center (AARC). Explore your special powers, and dress as your favorite literary character. Make a crown or a magic wand. Enjoy crafts, face-painting and temporary tattoos, story time, and other activities. Mention that you support the bookfair when you check out, and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the AARC by Barnes & Noble, and will go to purchase books for Alaskan libraries.

Wolchok, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Goal: Raise money for Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) and to raise awareness about melanoma After party at Connolly’s Pub, 121 West 45th Street.
